Senior Software Engineer, Mobile Linden Lab

Overview:
Linden Lab is seeking a hardcore Mobile developer with solid experience of building applications for both iOs and Android environments. As a Senior Software Engineer in this area you will seed/join a small team designing and implementing the foundational frameworks and applications for all Linden Labs future mobile projects. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced mobile engineer that wants to work on the crossroads of mobile, social and gaming.

Responsibilities:

Build robust mobile applications for several platforms.
Build foundational libraries of common functionality to be shared across applications and platforms.
Collaborate with Product, Design, and Operations to define clear requirements, deliverables, and milestones for mobile applications.
Create thorough and extensive test cases and work with QA team to ensure product is documented and well-tested
Collaborate with Creative and User Experience teams to develop and refine user interface.
Other duties may be assigned.


Qualifications:

Significant development experience with IOS or Android applications.
Expert level experience with C++ in large-scale deployments.
Must possess high level of enthusiasm and be a strong team player.
Must thrive in multi-tasking, quick moving, distributed thinking environment.


Education and Experience:

Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field.
5+ years of progressively broadening systems software development.
Previous start-up and/or MMO experience is a plus.
