We have an outstanding opportunity for an experienced, enthusiastic Senior Software Engineer to participate in building Flurry?s mobile platform servicing the booming mobile app marketplace. You can assume a key role as contributor of highly valued, high-profile functionality to our SDKs, which are delivered across all major mobile platforms. In this role you will make important contributions to all Flurry product lines, including AppCloud, Analytics, AppCircle, and AppSpot.This is your chance to expand your expertise in leading-edge mobile technologies as you solve challenging problems as part of a dedicated team that takes great pride in frequent deliveries of high-quality software. This is a terrific opportunity for a seasoned software engineer with experience in iOS or Android development who is excited at the thought of working with an array of advance releases of mobile platforms and devices. This position is located in our New York City offices.
Requirements:
You should have a track record of success in software design, implementation, and troubleshooting, including substantial work on mobile platforms. You thrive on learning and applying new technologies. You?re capable of managing your time well and working efficiently and independently. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are required.
Extensive software development experience.
Expertise in object-oriented, multithreaded software software development in Java and/or Objective-C.
2+ years solid experience building applications for Android and/or iOS platforms.
Development experience using relational databases (MySQL preferred).
Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field (Masters a plus).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Bonus:
Experience with JSP, JavaScript, CSS, HTML, AJAX development.
Experience with Hadoop, MapReduce, and related distributed systems technologies.
Experience with NoSQL storage technologies including: HBase, BigTable, Redis, MongoDB, Cassandra, etc.
