Senior Software Engineer Zonare Medical Systems

Responsibilities:The Imaging Team Senior Software Engineer will join ZONARE?s imaging software team in a key development role focused on developing advanced image processing and multi-media applications, and in optimizing these applications based on the system architecture. This engineer will participate in system design activities by optimizing trade offs between hardware, software and firmware and by validating algorithm correctness based on theoretical models and empirical measurements.
Requirements:
BSCS, BSCE, BSEE or equivalent required (MS desired)
Minimum 5-7 years experience
Programming expertise in C++
Demonstrated skill in object-oriented software development
Experience with embedded software design, software-hardware interaction with real-time operating systems, multi-threading, and event-driven architectures
Familiarity with designing system software emphasizing data transfer, memory management, and algorithm optimization techniques for high performance applications
Knowledge of the TI DSP family in particular the 64XX a plus
Knowledge of signal processing a plus
Parallel multi-processing experience a plus
Experience with algorithm plug-in architectures
Demonstrated practical experience of porting advanced algorithms from the lab to the system
Knowledge of medical imaging a plus
Medical device development a plus
Excellent verbal and written skills
