DescriptionJob Title: Senior Software Engineer
Job Description: Announce Media, LLC is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to contribute architecture input to new system components and rewrites legacy systems. Write thorough, comprehensive technical and high-level documentation and schema. Responsible for engineering and implementing new product features for high-end web-based applications. Optimize and enhance web applications with tens of millions of page requests, high volume data logging and processing needs, and high performance requirements. Provide production support.
Education: Master or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Information Systems Management or related.
Experience: 2 years of experience in position or related occupation such as Software Developer, Member of Technical Staff, Application Engineer or related.
Special Requirements: Must have experience with Java, Perl and shell script developing high traffic, high available and fault tolerant web applications and their backend running in a Linux/UNIX environment. Experience with relational database, application server and service-oriented architecture. Experience with schema design, log parsing, basic data analysis, MVCs, XML, TCP/IP, NFS, daemons and cron jobs.
