Senior Software Engineer GT Nexus
Position Summary:We are looking for experienced software developers who can build and support the growing footprint of functionality and customers on the GT Nexus Network. We want clever, innovative, senior developers that can work with complex systems, large codebases and real world deadlines. Specific Responsibilities Include:
Develop and support GT Nexus' hosted solutions
Work with Product and Professional Services teams to translate business requirements into both short-term solutions and long term products.
Maintain existing GT Nexus software products
Analyze and tune performance of GT Nexus applications
Job Requirements:
BS/MS in CS/EE (or equivalent experience)
5-7+ years of software development/support experience
Proficient in Java and J2EE technologies
Knowledge of HTML and Javascript
Expert in SQL and experience with RDBMS like SQL Server, Oracle
Understanding of XML and EDI and EAI (Enterprise Application Integration) tools
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Experience with any of the following is a plus:
Oracle/BEA Weblogic Application Server
Microsoft SQL Server.
