Senior Software Engineer - Platform Team Devicescape Software

Responsibilities:

Work with Engineering team to design and build core parts of the next generation Platform for EasyWifi service
Write and run unit tests for all the code written
Work with Operations team to help build monitoring & auto scaling solutions
Determine capacity of servers by running load tests
Perform peer code reviews

Requirements:

Extensive experience building extremely large-scale server applications
Solid Java, PHP, Python, Perl, and C++
Have good understanding of AWS environment (EC2, S3, CloudWatch, etc)
Familiarity with continuous deployment a plus
Expert in debugging server Java or PHP code on Linux systems
Strong scripting ability in PHP, Python or Perl
Solid database experience in MySQL or similar
Good interpersonal and communication skills
Bachelors or Masters in Computer science preferred
NoSQL (MongoDB) or NewSQL (VoltDB) desired
