SUMMARY OF JOB FUNCTION:AOptix Technologies is looking for an iPhone app GUI developer to join the software development team of the Identity Solutions organization. Be part of a small growing group in a 100+ person privately-held Kleiner Perkins company. This is a very visible software design and development position where you will be expected to take some ownership of the product and be one of the main resources on iOS and mobile application development.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Work with an all-star mobile team by participating in team wide design discussions, as well as help troubleshoot and fix issues in existing projects
Design an intuitive user interface for our state-of-the-art mobile application
Design and implement iPhone applications and middleware applications of the projects/features from start to finish
Document code and write design, functional, and API/Messaging interface specification
QUALIFICATIONS - KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS- EXPERIENCE:
Strong experience with OOP, ObjectiveC, and C/C++ programming languages
Experience writing native app development in iOS framework a must
Experience using mobile debugging/profiling tools a must
Experience writing socket programming over Bluetooth and WiFi a plus
Good communication skills and ability to attend to details, oral, written and face-to-face communication skills. He/she is organized, dedicated, articulate, energetic, and results oriented team player with excellent technical and people skills.
2+ years of relevant experience
BS/MS in Computer Science or related fields
