Senior Software Engineer - Ruby on Rails M2S, Inc.

Join a fast moving agile team in developing of M2S's next generation of web products. Our new technology platform will marry rich analytics with secure, standards based, high performing imaging and data collection via a highly configurable end user experience.The ideal candidate for this position will be a key contributor in the development of our new web product that is targeted for launch within an aggressive time-frame. We are seeking an experienced hands-on Ruby on Rails developer who has experience with leveraging Rails best practices, and is willing to find a path to success by researching and recommending alternatives when faced with challenging situations.
Requirements/Qualifications:
-Bachelor's Degree or advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field
-6 - 10 years of relevant work experience
-Ruby on Rails development and architecture experience
-Apache, Mongrel, SVN, Capistrano, Memcached and other services supporting Rails
-Central in the development of at least 1 ROR production system
-Applies OOD and Design Patterns to software design & problem solving
-Worked in a fast paced Agile environment with continuous integration, BDD, TDD
-Familiar with load performance testing
-RDBMS experience including schema design and content modeling
-Strong command of web standards and best practices
