We are looking for a highly motivated, creative problem-solver with a passion for excellence. You will develop high quality software solutions for the next generation global health record system, utilize object-oriented programming methodologies and languages, and participate in an Agile team to design, code, and test software components.
Essential Responsibilities:
? Design and develop complex software application components
? Design, develop and execute unit and integration tests
? Participate in project planning sessions with program managers, product managers, clinical analysts, engineers, and other team members to analyze requirements and outline the proposed software solution
? Coach new or current team members as appropriate
? Communicate effectively in a cross-functional, global environment
? Be a strong team player who genuinely enjoys working with people and who contributes to a fun, high-energy environment
Basic Qualifications/Requirements:
? BS Computer Science/Engineering and 10 years of relevant experience or 14 years of relevant work experience
? Successfully developed and shipped products on Microsoft .NET platforms (3+ years of experience)
? Data warehouse and Analytics development (3+ years of experience)
? Well versed with SDLC for business-critical applications
? Advanced knowledge and experience in performance tuning of applications and familiarity with instruments for performance and behavioral analysis
? Sophisticated problem solving skills with a passion for technology
? Owning and delivering on commitments with quality and on time
? Proactive in identifying and resolving technical issues related to the product
? Ability to participate in complex design problems and providing constructive feedback
? Excellent written & verbal communication skills
? Expert grasp of three or more technologies - C#, Javascript, SQL Server, WCF, Sharepoint
Desired Qualifications:
? MS Computer Science / Engineering
? Healthcare or Life Sciences domain knowledge
? Data warehouse, Analytics and Data Modeling knowledge
? Experience using/developing tools related to .NET applications
? Knowledge of software configuration management practices and procedures
? Experience in working with global teams
? Test-driven design and development experience
? Experience working in an Agile development process
? Experience in mentoring junior engineers
