Job SummaryWe're looking for a strong .NET developer someone who considers themselves a senior engineer or rising star with highly relevant experience. Join our small but growing team, and have an impact from day one. We release code every six weeks, and do a lot of experimentation, so your work isn't getting delayed for months and then shelved at the last minute. If you love finding elegant solutions to complicated problems, we want you on our side.
In addition to your standard web development challenges, our platform involves aspects of the following: auction, security/verification, fraud detection, community integration, accounting, loan origination, automated money flows, collections, API, email, loan processing, and more.
Responsibilities
Implement features on schedule, with high quality
Implement unit and integration tests
Manage bug list to completion for all major development milestones
Collaborate with fellow engineers to develop simple, robust solutions; perform code reviews
Work with QA and customer service to insure the product meets or exceeds user expectations
Required Skills/Experience
Strong experience coding "full stack" web applications
Strong attention to detail
C/ and ASP.NET strongly preferred, but will consider exceptional Java background.
Programming experience with commercial SQL RDBMS, MS SQL Server a plus
Excellent communication skills; oral and written
Experience with front-end development: HTML, JavaScript, JQuery, CSS a plus
Good knowledge of software engineering best practices
Ability to excel in fast paced environment
Experience with agile development a plus
Position:
Downtown San Francisco (next to Montgomery Muni/BART station)
