Overview:

Senior Software Engineer:

This is an excellent opportunity to design and develop our proprietary web-serving software. You will participate in full life cycle development, including gathering and analyzing requirements, design, development, enhancement, and troubleshooting. Applicants must demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills, and be able to work in a collaborative team environment.
Qualifications:

? 4-6 years of software development experience

? Expert knowledge developing and debugging in C/C++ (preferred) and/or Java on Linux
? Experience developing with scripting languages Ruby (preferred), Python, Perl, or PHP

? Strong database experience using MySQL (preferred) or PostgreSQL



Other experience that would be a plus for this position:

? Extensive experience working with big data warehousing and analytics

? Experience with file systems, server architectures, and distributed systems

? Multithreading programming in highly concurrent systems
? Media industry experience
