Senior Software Engineer Workshare

The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 8 years experience, or equivalent in software engineering. At least 5 years experience in Microsoft .NET, Web Services, C, advanced visual C++, COM/DCOM, Java and web based development technologies and server-side programming. You will be a part of a small and focused engineering team to help create new cloud based products for Workshare.

You will help us create a scalable, secure multiuser platform that will be accessed from the desktop, web and mobile devices. You will leverage your Sharepoint expertise to drive our Sharepoint product and integration offerings. You will also be responsible for solving the toughest problems from customers using our existing server product.

Experience:
Prior Experience should include:

Advanced C, C++ programming skills.
Microsoft .NET experience including building web-based applications using IIS, Web Services, ASP.NET MVC, MSMQ, ADO.NET using Visual Studio.
Development experience and advanced knowledge of Sharepoint applications and integrations.
Designing and implement REST based web services and clients that connect to these services.
Designing database schemas and object persistence layers.
Experience building scalable applications and deploying on AWS, Azure, Google App Engine etc.
Writing unit and automated test cases for code.

Education / Technical Skills:

Advanced understanding of current Microsoft architectural principles and practices.
Experience with Extreme Programming and Test First Design.
Bachelor(s) degree in Computer Science or equivalent degree/experience.
