Senior Software Engineer Altierre

JOB DESCRIPTION Responsible for developing various in-house software applications including the complete software development lifecycle. Duties include analysis, design, development, testing and deployment of high standards for Web-based, Enterprise, Client/Server, and System applications; designing and developing Transaction Intensive Enterprise applications with very high user volume and large databases; and designing and developing three-tier and N-tier Client/Server development architecture. Will also support internal departments as well as users during functional, UAT, regression and performance testing of systems. Support various Altierre systems such as the Altierre Service Gateway (ASG); Altierre Access Point (AAP); Altierre Wireless Tags (AWT); and Altierre Portable Terminal (APT), as well as participate in their implementation and deployment for customers. Fix bugs in the existing code and propose ways to enhance the existing code base.
EXPERIENCE/
QUALIFICATIONS Masters or foreign academic equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Applications or related field plus one (1) year of experience. Experience with Java programming, J2EE architecture, Hibernate, OOD (Object Oriented Design), SQL (Structured Query language) required.
SALARY Compensation based upon work experience.
