Position Summary:
Primary Responsibilities:
Design and implement new product and enhancements at model, controller and UI levels
Work in a team oriented, exciting, challenging and rewarding work environment
Implement scalability and performance improvements for the application and underlying infrastructure
Optimize existing features
Design and implement web interfaces using jQuery, HAML and SASS
Work with a variety of cross functional teams to build awesome web applications.
Design and develop database driven web tools/apps utilizing a variety of technologies
Design and implement a commercial Ruby on Rails application
Minimum Requirements:
B.S. in Computer Science or a related field
6+ years of experience developing web applications, ideally using Ruby on Rails, Java, or Python
Experience writing automated tests (we use Test::Unit, Shoulda, and Harmony)
Experience with continuous integration (we use TeamCity)
Experience with Data modeling and optimization of RDBMS (MySQL)
Experience developing SaaS or web based enterprise software applications
A good eye for UI design using CSS, JavaScript (we currently favor jQuery, HAML, and SASS)
Experience using Textmate, Git, Unix systems, and Mac OS X
