Senior Software Engineer Analogix Semiconductor

Job DescriptionAnalogix is looking for a senior software engineer to develop customer specific solutions based on our portfolio of display related products. This will involve software development for Android, QNX, Windows, and Windows Phone8. The primary task will be the development of driver, tools and applications for handhelds, tablets and PCs. Duties will include brainstorming system solutions, writing specifications for review before starting and helping with any required customer documentation upon completion.
Skills and Experience Required
Candidates for this position should have 5 to 10 years or more of experience developing software using a variety of operating systems and languages. C experience is required. Experience with Android, QNX and other Linux operating systems is required. Experience with Windows Phone 7 or 8, MACs and PCs is also highly beneficial. Experience with ARM and x86 is essential. The candidate must have excellent oral and written English communication skills and be able to work in an environment with few or no other software engineers. Experience with hardware lab tools is a plus. The candidate must also be able to interface with customers and partners in North America and other parts of the world. Some occasional travel may be necessary, but it should be possible to complete most tasks through email and conference calls.
Education Requirements
A Bachelors or Masters of Science in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering is required.
