What You?ll Do
If you?re passionate about software development, you love to tackle big, thorny engineering problems, and you enjoy working in a very fast paced agile team environment, this could be your dream job. While all of Lithium?s engineers range wildly in the projects they undertake, this position is focused largely on the middle and back end of the Lithium application.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for developing clean, object-oriented code, an interest in designing and developing simple, clear APIs, and a fervent belief in developer testing.
Support the software product design effort and participate in multiple projects.
Solve complex problems, and provide support to more junior engineers.
Evaluate and analyze software products.
Define, develop, and contribute to a variety of software projects and engage with individuals across various departments or organizations to resolve problems.
Prioritize multiple requirements, and communicate to management the present status.
Bachelor?s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field 8 years of experience in software development or engineering.
In-depth knowledge of Unix, Windows, JVM, web and application servers.
Strong knowledge of J2EE (EJB, Servlets, JSP, XML, JDBC, JMS).
Strong knowledge of Design Patterns.
Strong knowledge of database systems, and proficiency in SQL.
Experience with web-based Social Media applications is a plus.
