Senior Software Engineer - Storage SeaMicro

SeaMicro is seeking a talented Senior software engineer to work on the highly optimized Storage dataproc that run on the storage controllers for our server product line.Required Qualifications:
7+years of storage development experience on Linux/BSD kernels with knowledge of OS process scheduling, interrupt processing, synchronization mechanisms, memory and cache management
Detailed working knowledge of SATA/SAS controller technologies, network storage architectures, and PCIe device interfaces
Good working knowledge of RAID.
Direct experience with driver and application performance analysis and tuning resulting in significant performance improvements
Able to troubleshoot and resolve complex software problems in embedded, real-time systems
Demonstrated ability to effectively document and communicate both complex systems designs. Must have completed a full product cycle with multiple, software releases
Experience in the following areas is highly desirable: backup and migration storage applications and working in high availability, failover systems
Previous start-up experience is a plus
Solid interpersonal skills conducive to a team environment
Able to work independently on multiple tasks
A BS degree in CS/Computer Engineering is required; MS degree preferred
