Narus is recruiting a full-time Senior Software Engineer in its Innovations team to lead the future development of a break-through technology. This person filling this position will be in charge of the future system design and architecture in addition to supporting sales activities when required. He/She will get a chance to novel/break-through algorithms that are set to redefine the market space. Expertise in Java programming language (core Java) with at least 5+ years of experience is a requirement.Requirements:
BS/MS in CS/CE or equivalent; PhD is a plus
Must have: Solid experience in developing applications in Linux/GNU environment; a good understanding of Red Hat Enterprise Linux is a plus.
Must have: Strong programming skills in Java (core Java) along with at least one scripting language (Perl/Python/Ruby/Shell)
Must have: Thorough understanding of the complete software life cycle along with some experience is supporting sales activities in the field
Must have: Experience in designing APIs and familiarity with REST interfaces
Must have: Excellent oral/written communication skills and experience in interacting with customers
Desired but NOT required: Familiarity with networking protocols/applications (Layer-4 and Layer-7 of the OSI stack)
