IP Infusion provides a comprehensive set of Layer 2 and Layer 3 switching and routing solutions for communication equipment vendors. Our scalable, modular technology enables OEMs and ODMs to develop innovative access, enterprise, edge, and core networking equipment while reducing development expenses and increasing time in market.
DUTIES: Design, develop, and implement features on the ZebOS Networking platform. Specific duties will include feature definition, engineering design, software implementation, unit testing, and SQA support throughout the entire development cycle; interact with marketing and customer support in addressing customer feature requests, issues and technical requirements; embedded software development using one or more silicon from vendors such as Broadcom, Marvell, Wintegra or Fulcrum; software development debugging using C; develop requirements and design documents; perform coding and unit testing; and utilize embedded platforms, using Broadcom SDK integration, Layer 2 and Metro Ethernet protocols, Routing Protocols; Networking Protocol Design, L2 and L3 embedded design; TCP/IP and Socket Programming; Network processors and switching ASICs; Embedded Linux environments; Programming and Debugging using C, Layer2 switching (xSTP, VLANs, QoS, etc, Layer3 (RIP, OSPF/CSPF), and MPLS (LDP, RSVP-TE, PWE).
M.Sc.-- degree (or equivalent-) in EE, CS, CE or related field such as Information Technology and three (3)-- years of experience in the job offered or as a Software Engineer or Senior Technical Lead.

--Will accept a B.Sc. (or equivalent-) in EE, CS, CE or related field such as Information Technology followed by five (5) years of progressive experience in the job offered or as a Software Engineer or Senior Technical Lead; or any other suitable combination of education, training or experience.
Requires experience with real-time operating systems (RTOS) embedded platforms (Linux, Vxworks); network processor sdks (Broadcom SDK); Routing and Switches architecture; chassis based architecture; spanning tree protocols (MSTP (802.1s), RSTP (802.1w), VLAN (802.1 Q), Layer 3 IPV4, IPV6); unicast and multicast forwarding; and Metro Ethernet technologies.
