About the job
As a Senior Software Engineer, you will help maintain our existing web sites as well as build out the new features that will enable our company to continue growing in the future. You will join a team of talented developers using best practices, such as test driven development and peer review, to tackle challenging problems while accounting for ever increasing amounts of data and traffic. Using Scrum, you will help deliver functionality that has quality built-in from the ground up. Every once in a while, you will be asked to help out with QA by spending a couple hours playing games.

lead the design, development and implementation of scalable and reliable web applications
written concise, manageable and easy to read object-oriented code using a language such as Perl, PHP or Python as part of a fast-paced, team-oriented development team
developed a fondness and understanding of industry best practices, such as test driven development and version control, while working as part of an Agile development group
