Senior Software Test Analyst HighJump Software
Job Description:An opportunity now exists within Product Development for an experienced professional to contribute to the overall quality of HighJump Software?s suite of products. The successful candidate must have previous experience in a QA role at a software company and have a solid understanding of the QA process. The Analyst will have hands-on responsibilities in all aspects of quality planning, measurement and analysis, and will become an expert on the functionality of HighJump applications. The Analyst will be responsible for both manual testing and automated testing. The emphasis will be on automated testing which includes both writing and executing test scripts. Employees work on cross-functional Agile teams.
Required:
Minimum of 5 years of quality assurance experience
Excellent knowledge of QA test methodologies and practices
Ability to perform complex testing to ensure quality standards are met
Experience with Test Automation including writing automation scripts, preferably Fitnesse.
Ability to clearly document test cases so they are understandable and re-usable
Ability to write and understand SQL queries to view and update data in SQL Server and Oracle databases
Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
Self-motivated, pro-active, dynamic team player with a positive attitude
Experience in testing software installation programs
Experience reviewing and testing end user documentation including end user manuals and web help files
Preferred:
Experience using VMware
BS/BA, Computer Science or equivalent degree
Experience working with Offshore teams
Supply Chain concepts/ Industry knowledge
Experience working in an Agile environment
