Axeda Corporation, the leading cloud platform and applications company for enabling connected products, is seeking a top notch Senior Software Test Engineer with a ?test to break' attitude, strong passion for quality, and keen attention to detail. As a Scrum team member, you will work closely with product management and developers to design and implement automated tests that ensure our product goals are achieved. The successful candidate will have a track record and passion for delivering innovative high quality product solutions that delight customers.Responsibilities/Duties:
Collaborate with product management and application developers to thoroughly understand product and customer goals
Define and implement automated acceptance tests for Web Services & Java SDK using JUnit.
Develop and maintain test plans based on use cases, issue logging, verification, and problem determination, and perform ad hoc testing under time constraints.
Conduct exploratory testing to identify product soft spots
Participate in Design Reviews.
Technical/Professional Knowledge/Skills:
3-5 years Software QA experience with a good understanding of SQA methodology
Solid understanding of basic Java concepts and automation frameworks.
Ability to design test plans and execute test procedures for complex applications
Experience in automating tests using JUnit a MUST.
Experience with black box and white box testing a MUST.
Knowledge of SQL, UNIX
Familiarity with web technologies
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
