Senior Solutions Consultant BA-Insight
BA Insight is an exciting, fast paced company with an excellent team focused on changing the world of Enterprise Search. We are looking for a skilled Solutions Consultant to drive customer deliverables and implement customer solutions. The candidate will be involved in all aspects of customer projects, delivering innovation and revolutionary search based solutions to industry leading companies. The successful candidate will have great customer communication skills, be an excellent problem solver and a team player. Our projects range from 3 weeks to 6 months in duration, and involve the deployment of enterprise Search Based Applications (SBAs) from design and installation / configuration through to the development and implementation of the Search User Interface.Responsibilities:
Develop and implement SharePoint based Search solutions into customer environments
Own and lead specific customer engagements from project inception through final closure
Manage customer satisfaction through technical leadership and by providing consistent, clear and concise communication through all project phases
Provide input to our product development teams on innovative opportunities that extend our product set to better meet the needs of customers
Work with other departments in the company to efficiently achieve customer satisfaction
Required skills and experience:
5+ years of experience in professional services or customer solution delivery roles
SharePoint development and administration experience
.NET commercial software development experience (at least 3 years)
Skilled with C#, VB.NET, Web Services, and SQL
Active directory and security experience
Development of UX for SharePoint or related applications / technologies
Flexibility for adapting to quick changing conditions
Strong wriiten and verbal communication skills and the ability to summarize complex technical information into straightforward language for customers
Strong analysis and problem solving skills
Desired skills and experience:
Enterprise Systems experience including ERP (SAP, Oracle, etc.), Document/Content Management Systems (eRoom, Interwoven, Opentext, IBM, etc.)
Experience with Enterprise Search
Email and archiving Systems experience (Exchange, EVault, etc)
IT Administration/Network Engineering/Security experience
Travel: Up to 25% travel to customer locations.
