Senior SQA Engineer IPeria
Position Overview:Develop test strategies, test plans, build and execute both manual and automated tests for a sophisticated, Carrier grade, Messaging and Mobile Communications platform.
Primary duties and responsibilities will include:
Develop test plans and testing scripts for the Iperia VX platform
Ability to configure and analyze SIP, RTP and HTTP environments and develop and test scripts using Websphere and J2EE test tools
Develop an automated test harness and provide as much automated testing as possible
Work with developers and support teams to understand bugs and issues and provide corresponding test cases
Participate in new feature design meetings
Work closely with the development and support teams
Ability to work in a small development team
Skill, Education and Position Requirements:
More than 5 years proven experience in a SQA role using Application Servers in a J2EE environment. Some management experience preferred
Superior communication skills
Experience with Redhat, Websphere, Web portals, email, MySQL and LDAP management. Typical Software Development process tools including bug tracking and Code management
Significant knowledge of Unix and Websphere commands and configuration. Usage of Android, Blackberry and IPhone devices required
BS or equivalent in CE, CS, or other technical major with emphasis on software
Skill, Education and Position Requirements:
Bugzilla, Perforce, Eclipse, Ant, Maven
A wide variety of experience with SQA scripting and automation tools
Telephony signaling protocols. Voicemail or Videomail systems. Video or Audio CODECs, Conferencing systems. Email protocols. FAX technologies
Wireshark or similar Internet protocol analyzers
Hammer or other phone call simulation tools
