POSITION SUMMARY
The Sr. Staff Accountant is responsible for the accounting processes of: Accounts
Receivable, Accounts Payable, Payroll, Purchasing and the General Ledger for
Calabrio. This position may also assist with various other Finance Department
responsibilities such as commission calculations, project reporting, budgeting and
forecasting and royalty reporting. This member will be a key hire in the building of an
accounting staff to manage the projected growth of the company.
As the Senior Staff Accountant, you will need to handle collection calls to past due
customers, assist with special projects as assigned by the Director of Finance. Special
project may include but not be limited to audit tasks, financial statement preparation
and financial analysis.
CORE EXPECATIONS
? Perform all A/R and A/P Operations: billing, cash posting, claims reconciliation and
monthly statements
? Maintain daily cash by monitoring incoming funds and verifying accuracy of checks
disbursed
? Review G/L accounts for proper posting of invoices and receipts
? Billing and analyzing the Company?s revenue stream
? Commissions
? Month end Close
o Bank reconciliations
o Prepare balance sheet account reconciliations.
o Month-end financial statement analysis, variance analysis.
o Monthly Accruals
? Ensure month-end procedures meet all deadlines
? Process fixed assets
? Create and update monthly and quarterly Access Database
? Special Projects ? as assigned by Director of Finance
? Ad Hoc reporting including assisting other departments with reporting requirements
? Process Improvements
? Other core expectations will be defined by your direct supervisor/manager

? Provides leadership within company on small projects and tasks
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
? Bachelor?s degree in Accounting
? Minimum of 3 years related accounting experience
? Knowledge and/or working experience with Microsoft Office, Excel, Access,
PowerPoint, ADP Payroll, and Dynamics GP
? Understanding of GAAP principles
? Experience in the software industry is a plus
? Public Accounting / CPA is a plus
