Senior Staff Engineering Tools Developer Palo Alto Networks

We are looking for a self-motivated developer to join the engineering team and help us increase our productivity by providing needed internal tools and general engineering development support functions.
The duties will range from maintaining our existing build infrastructure to specifying and building out new frameworks for unit test automation that can integrate into our development process.
Responsibilities:
- Define and implement new tools to enhance developer productivity
- Design, implement, and maintain complex unit and system testbeds
- Build out network test infrastructure used to test both layer 2 and layer 3 networking topologies
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of development experience
- Networking experience required. Must be able to build up dynamic network topologies that can be reconfigured by an automation framework
- Experience with software build tools (gmake, rpm, gcc, gdb)
- Experience with C, Python strongly desired
- Experience with SCM concepts (Perforce experience a plus)
- Experience administering Linux systems
- Experience building web based services
- SQL experience desired
- Self-motivated; someone who can take a rough project outline for concept to implementation
- Excellent communication and documentation skills a must
- BS/MS or equivalent
