Job descriptionThe successful candidate will participate and support SoC design for eMMC & SSD products through Software tool design, implementation, and interface performance verification. The engineer will support reference design, review customer's designs and resolve customer issues from product development to mass production.
The engineer will need to travel to customer sites to build strong relations with technical decision makers, and will also prepare applicaiton notes, user instructions and perform technical support to sales and marketing teams for design-win and market exploration.
Desired Skills & Experience
BS/MS in Computer Science or Electric Engineering
5 to 10 years of working experience in the areas of wireless or data communication products or NAND-based storage products
Experience with SW tool development for product development, verification, failure analysis and manufacture
Experience with tier-1 customer support
Proficient in programming or scripting languages, such as C, C++, Python, Perl and Visual Basic
Knowledge with hardware engineering and computer architecture, such as ARM architecture
Hands-on experience with various mobile phone platforms and mass production environment
Knowledge in NAND devices such as SSD will be a plus
Experience with high speed interfaces such as SATA, PCI-e, SAS, eMMC will be a plus
Excellent written and oral communication skill in English
Willing to work in a multi-tasking, fast pace, team oriented working environment
