MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Performs the final review and edit of assessments developed by other HR Specialists throughout agency
Completes reviews in a timely manner
Provides final review comments, approved assessments, and records them in the appropriate logs
Provides technical contract support in the development of assessments for the automated staffing system.
Collaborates with the Assessment Development Team (ADT) and the DEU Team Lead
Develops job assessments using predefined job requirements
Provides technical support in the development of job assessments for USA Staffing system (approximately 2-3 per day)
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
Bachelors Degree + 6 years experience, or 12 years without Bachelors
Practical experience in Title 5 recruitment for competitive service and/or excepted service
Hand's on experience using automated tool for staffing ( USAJobs)
Experience recruiting for SL,ST, and DEU positions
Experience with Federal Position Classification (including Wage Grade positions)
Experience with Federal Position Qualification Analysis and Federal Position Management
Must have the ability to apply and evaluate regulations, laws, policies and principles that relate to Federal Staffing and Recruitment and the ability to interpret and apply legal and regulatory guidance that relate to Federal Human Resources Management
Must have the ability to communicate in writing and articulate and support stated rationale in the development of job assessments
PREFERABLE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Practical experience in Title 38 recruitment
