Who We Want:
This is a pre-sales consulting role, chartered to help drive sales bookings growth and value for our clients. Responsibilities include running point on sales consulting assessments, developing approaches and frameworks for these engagements, developing and defending ROI models, sharing lessons learned and tools with the broader sales team to improve our messaging and value story.
The right candidate will be passionate about and successful in:
Applying intellectual curiosity and consultative selling techniques to dig deep and understand our client?s businesses and challenges
Applying business judgment to develop a "big picture" point-of-view, and use strong analytical and creative skills to make that point-of-view come to life and become compelling.
Bringing a highly consultative approach to building trust with senior executive decision makers (generally C-level/VP-level) to help them buy into a vision and set of recommendations.
Collaborate with Sales to help drive the sales cycle from initial concept to proposal.
Building assets, tools and templates to help scale this consultative selling capability throughout the Sales and Client Success organizations.
Spending time with prospects and clients in person, with flexibility and desire for up to 50% domestic travel.
Skills and Experience Necessary for the Role:
Relevant experience and skills:
Leading structured discovery processes with multiple levels of client personnel
Constructing compelling value propositions and business cases
Track record of establishing trust with senior client executives and stakeholders
Demonstrated ability to quickly ramp up on new products, markets and subject matter
Demonstrated ability to handle many concurrent projects
Hands-on experience with enterprise or complex solution selling, from initial client interactions through to framing the pricing and value.
This is an individual contributor position; demonstrated ability to guide a ?matrixed? team of resources to achieve a common goal.
Strong personal presence, combined with professional presentation and communication skills
Technology-fluency: a solid conceptual understanding of Internet infrastructure, social media, digital, mobile, commerce and related other technologies.
5+ years of experience in consulting or pre-sales consulting or similar client-facing roles, preferably within the consulting, internet/e-commerce, high-tech and/or marketing services industries.
Prior experience selling to the Marketing function is desirable
BA/BBA/BS or equivalent education
