Key Position Accountabilities:
Establish and utilize best methods (statistical models and software tools) in creating forecasts and respective inventory targets.
Utilize advanced understanding of Microsoft Access/Excel to process complex S&OP datasets and demonstrate project planning expertise with MS Project or Agile software.
Accountable for key supply chain KPIs across the managed supplier portfolio.
Conduct ad hoc forecasting analysis which illuminates trends and issues
Assemble and analyze all data pertinent to creating the operational forecast as well as the prerequisites for inventory/replenishment planning.
Analyze procurement cost trends to isolate opportunities for possible savings and elevate to Sourcing for execution.
Maintain Design to Cost files, interact with Contract Manufactures to keep files current
Maintain Contact Manufacturing action tracker establishing weekly reviews
Interact with internal engineering teams on design to cost activities
Maintain PLM Agile updates weekly and daily
Maintain Supply Chain readiness data
Bachelor?s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or Mathematics.
5-7 years of forecasting/demand planning, supply planning/procurement, inventory deployment, logistics, sourcing, product management, or distribution. Preference to experience with 2-3 of above areas,especially sourcing and procurement.
Advanced skill in Microsoft Excel & Access. If/Then statements as well as VLOOKUPs in Excel are considered mandatory skills.
Agile PLM or MS Project expertise required.
Experience working in an S&OP environment a plus.
Proven track record of developing business process improvements tools/methods.
Must be able to successfully handle multiple priorities simultaneously
Excellent facilitation skills with the ability to drive consensus
Strong working knowledge of MRP and ERP systems
Strong communication skills ? including ability to present and articulate strategic business direction in forums that include senior management
