Senior Support Analyst - Fusion INRIX

Role Summary:The qualified candidate will have deep knowledge of Windows Server, Microsoft SQL, networking, along with troubleshooting software and hardware issues. The candidates will need experience running large systems in multiple locations. He or she will be working in a fast paced and challenging environment and will need to be organised, creative, be able learn and apply new knowledge quickly, able to work and prioritize independently, be able to define and manage projects and be dedicated to operational excellence.
Primary Responsibilities:
Systems support including network, server hardware, and commercial and custom software
System deployment and upgrade planning and execution
Participation in system design and architectures with development, engineering, and planning team
Define and document system needs (i.e. server configurations, storage needs, network, etc.)
Define, create and champion monitoring & reporting requirements and systems needed to ensure the effective and efficient support of INRIX systems
Define, document and manage system capacity needs
Work with SQL Server in help manage system configurations and data
Enterprise class server installation and maintenance
Problem response and resolution
24/7 on-call as required
Role Requirements:
Demonstrable experience working with distributed enterprise systems in multi-data centre environments
Troubleshoot enterprise hardware, software and networks
Install and configuration of Windows Server and SQL Server operating systems and software
Experience in co-location environment management
Strong understanding of operational metrics, monitoring and reporting
Solid understanding of enterprise networking
Experience with IIS6 and IIS7
Experience in managing Windows 2003 and 2008 (inc. R2) Active Directory environments
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Edge networking experience (firewalls, routers, etc) an advantage ? in particular CISCO and Watchguard
Experience with programming languages like C#, Java, VBScript, ASP.Net a plus
Enterprise storage experience a plus
Virtualisation experience a plus
A desire to be a part of something brand new is essential.
Occasional US travel (up to 4 times a year) is required
Possible travel to China (up to 2 times a year) may be required
