Common information:EPAM Systems is looking for a Senior Support Analyst to join our Banking & Financial Services Business Unit.
Location:
Stamford, CT
Responsibilities:
Analyze user requirements, procedures, and problems to automate or improve existing systems and review computer system capabilities, workflow, and scheduling limitations
Test, maintain, and monitor computer programs and systems, including coordinating the installation of computer programs and systems
Communicating with clients to define specific product requirements, documenting design specifications, key entities and elements, data transformations and conversions
Creating new programs and customizing existing programs utilizing common programming languages and development environments such as Java/C++/Oracle/Sybase/SQL/Unix/Solaris/etc
Create various shell and Perl scripts running on Solaris and Linux OS
Analyze source code, written in (Java/C++/Perl), of the existing applications and provide suggestions to fix known issues and identify new possible errors
Provide L1 support when required
Qualification:
Master?s Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Applied Mathematics
