Job DescriptionComposite Software is hiring a full-time Senior System Administrator. The Senior System Administrator will be responsible for designing, installing, configuring, and maintaining Composite?s Windows Network in 24x7 production and development environment. In addition to working in this dynamic Windows environment, the Senior Administrator will assist the team with other departmental tasks and projects. Composite works with the latest technology and is looking for a self-starter who can meet the demands of a fast growing company in a timely fashion.
Primary responsibilities include:
Install and configure Windows (2003/2008/2012) Servers and Network
Administer Microsoft Exchange 2010 environment
Provide expert guidance and mentorship to other IT employees
Secondary responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
Set-up and configure Linux and UNIX Servers
Administer virtual environment
Provide helpdesk support to PC or Mac Users
Configure Cisco, Foundry, and Juniper network device
Maintain other core business applications
Administer Storage platform
Manage IT Projects
Automate IT tasks
Monitor enterprise systems and infrastructure
Qualification/Knowledge required
BS in Information Technology or equivalent experience
10+ years experience in critical IT operation primarily within the area of Windows
Server and Active Directory Management, and Exchange Server Administration
Ability to lift PCs, servers, network hardware, etc. (up to 50 pounds)
Other Skills Preferred
Experience with integrating Linux/Unix systems with Active Directory, LDAP and Kerberos is highly preferred
PowerShell Scripting is highly preferred
Experience with Server Virtualization technologies such as VMWARE, Citrix XEN, and/or Microsoft Hypervisor
Experience in administrating Linux/UNIX based system
