Description: BioMedix is a developer, manufacturer, and worldwide distributor of vascular diagnostic devices and software solutions. BioMedix currently has an immediate, full time opening for a highly motivated, professional Senior System Analyst, with good communication and team working skills, and excellent attention to detail, with the ability to multi-task, and follow through.
The Senior System Analyst is responsible to review complex customer service issues to determine appropriate action for correction, develop and enhance existing management reporting; assists system administration, such as program development and maintenance, development testing, translating business requirements into functional specifications and configurations, and programming to include SQL, Web services, .Net, FoxPro, XML and Microsoft as they related to database functionality.
Essential Job Functions:
Maintain database integrity by running reports and analyzing data
CRM and TRAKnet expert level user and trainer
Provide support and troubleshooting to employees as it relates to TRAKnet and CRM
Seek additional knowledge and resources of best practices, upgrades and understand linkage to BPOS and GP
Write reports as requested by department heads
Help customize department dashboards with unique reporting
Manage user roles and security access
Conducts testing of development enhancements; reports testing results to Development and Department Heads
Write workflows and audit workflows to ensure continuity
Report programming of various software applications
Assist in programming and customizations of business applications
Use judgment and critical thinking to obtain desired results
Understand the role of Systems Analyst as it relates to the policies and procedures of the BioMedix Quality System
Non-Essential Job Functions:
Act as liaison with the project management team
Develop and maintain relationships with department head and decision makers
Support as requested for various interdepartmental programming and reporting needs
Professional Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or technical major required
2 or more years of experience related to report development and automation, database, design, development, administration and operational support required
1 year of prior experience in an analyst role in a healthcare related industry preferred
Understanding of business processes and ability to translate business requirements into application functionality
Ability to quickly learn new concepts, including product line structure and current business processes
Excellent project management skills with ability to juggle multiple projects/tasks across various user groups
Proven ability to design and optimize business processes and to integrate business processes across disparate systems
Previous Microsoft CRM experience preferred
Microsoft Certified preferred
Knowledge of related applications and technology; database management
SQL, .Net, XML or other report writing tools preferred
