Senior System Operations Engineer

Responsibilities:

? Develop automation tools and scripts for building, deploying and monitoring web services in the cloud
? Support large agile development team and their environments
? Administer production and staging environments
? Leverage your application development expertise to build custom tools
? Participate in 24/7 on-call schedules

Requirements:

? 5+ years building, managing, and scaling critical web infrastructure
? Amazon Web Services - EC2 S3
? Linux - CentOS Ubuntu RHEL
? Scripting in Ruby Python Perl and Bash
? RDBMs preferably PostgreSQL
? Jetty or Tomcat application server preferably Jetty
? Subversion
? Configuration management utilizing Puppet and/or Chef

Pluses:

? Atlassian Suite - Jira, Confluence, FishEye, Bamboo
? Maven
? Continuous integration and deployment experience
? MongoDB experience
? ActiveMQ
? VMWare ESX
? Membase/memcache
? Solr
? Auto-Scaling
? Hardening linux systems
