Experienced Sales Engineer in the rapid expanding field of OTT (over the top) media/video delivery. This is a well-funded startup looking to ramp its Sales force to support an expanding customer base.
Azuki provides the most sophisticated mobile media platform on the market today. The Azuki Wireless Platform is an embeddable, turnkey solution for the ingestion, preparation, protection, and delivery of high quality mobile video and other media. Working with content owners and enterprises as well as infrastructure and service providers, Azuki extends and enhances internet-scale content delivery systems with adaptive delivery, advanced interactivity and other key features that facilitate rich media services on all major wireless device platforms. Based in Acton, Massachusetts, Azuki is led by an executive team renowned for repeated success in establishing and scaling companies that address key challenges in the communications industry.
Systems/Sales Engineers are responsible for pre-sales technical assistance for the sales teams and will perform technical presentations & demonstrations of the product line. In addition, they will be involved in all aspects of the technical sale. The Systems Engineer must be able to articulate technology and product positioning to both business and technical users and be able to identify all the technical issues of sales prospects to assure complete customer satisfaction through all stages of the sales process. This Systems/Sales Engineer will support all sales in the Western US, primarily LA, and Silicon Valley.
Job Requirements:
- Minimium 5 years experience and proven success in a technical sales role
- Experience with Smart Phones OS's: iPhone, Android, WebOS, Windows Mobile, and Blackberry
- Experience with Carrier or Enterprise IT infrastructure for video delivery
- Excellent presentation skills with the ability to discuss technical details, as well as presenting to a C-level audience
- Strong communication skills with good listening capability, addressing competitive questions and handling objections
- Resourcefulness and creativity to understand complex problems and provide innovative solutions
- Team player with interpersonal skills to work with sales and technical staff in a dynamic and innovative company environment
- Must be authorized to work in the United States on full-time basis for any employer
Functions:
- Directly responsible for teaming with sales through all aspects of the sales cycle
- Provide strategic and senior level product presentations, demonstrations, product evauluation, and trade show support
- Take ownership and responsibility for technical activities in assigned accounts and lead in defining the "technical" sales strategy for complex opportunities
- Follow up on accounts for functional/technical issues related to sales cycle and guarantee a successful customer experience
- Provide product management team with customer and market feedback.
