Senior Systems Administrator Mashery

As a Sr. Systems Engineer, you will design, build and control production systems and networks, which includes the configuration of production equipment, including but not limited to servers and our network.

Setup monitoring services
Setup and maintain servers and network
Support MongoDB, Solr, MySQL, MySQL NDB and Cassandra databases as needed
Monitor company infrastructure, at colo and in the office
Capacity planning

The successful candidate for this role will have the following attributes:

8+ years of related experience with website operations is required; this includes experience with high volume/high traffic web sites
Working knowledge of MYSQL NDB
Linux OS and Apache experience require
Windows server OS and IIS experience required

Working knowledge of networking and DNS
Working knowledge of web application and web site support
Experience with Cisco IOS
Experience with Memcache/Redis a plus
Cloud computing experience a plus
Strong scripting experience in shell, Perl or Python fluency a plus
Experience with process automation using scripting languages
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Demonstrated history of solving real-world problems
Demonstrated success working with small or 'startup' firms is highly desired
StrongMail or other enterprise email platform background a plus
BS, MS, in Computer Science or related discipline
