Senior Systems Administrator Workshare

The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 8 years of experience, or equivalent in systems engineering at a senior level. At least 4 years of experience with website administration, desktop application, user support and Linux administration.

You will manage a small and focused support team to help administer and support Workshare's heterogeneous computing environment and network infrastructure

Position duties and responsibilities

Design, implement, and administer Windows Production, Development, and QA infrastructure systems in US and abroad.
Windows Active Directory, DNS, WINS.
Windows Server 2000/2000/2008
Exchange 2003/2007/2010 d. SQL 2005/2008
Windows FTP / WSUS / WDS
Administer, maintain, and upgrade production applications and services with the assistance of outside Consulting (C) for certain applications and Internal (I) i.e. the position we are seeking

Qualifications:
This position requires:

Strong interpersonal and communications skills; capable of writing proposals or papers, acting as a vendor liaison, making presentations to customers or client audiences or professional peers, and working closely with upper management.
Ability to solve problems quickly and effectively.
Independent problem-solving, self-direction.
Complete ownership of technical issues.

Required Skills:

8+ years experience with:
Systems administration experience
Windows Server 2000 /2003/2008 administration
Supporting Active Directory domains
E-mail administration (Exchange or equivalent)
Network administration /support (HTTP, HTTPS, FTP, DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, routers, switches)
Firewall administration (Cisco preferred)
VMware ESX administration experience
4+ years experience with:
Website administration (MS IIS, Apache, Tomcat, JBoss)
Desktop application support (MS Office, etc)
Desktop user support (updates, patches, virus protection)
Linux administration (RedHat preferred)
Storage systems administrator (NetApp, Dell, EMC preferred)
Ability to travel 5 of the time
Must be able to lift 60lbs and work inside a data center
