Job Description:
Your primary responsibility will be to support the VOIP applications servicing our call centers. This role will also maintain and support a number of company wide applications and Microsoft services. This position will require in-depth Windows domain servers and Windows network administration skills to support our client base and core IT team.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Administration and support of Shoretel Telephony
Manage all aspects of call center technology, including Shoretel Director/Contact Center Integration, Shoretel Chat, Call Recording. Good understanding of MPLS and troubleshooting problems at remote call centers
Administration and support of Jira, Confluence and Rally
Manage maintenance, support, configuration, security and integrity of ticketing and tracking systems. Manage and support ticketing queues, user roles, security, profiles, workflows and reporting. Perform application and system administration tasks including data backups and scheduled jobs
Administration and support of Windows Domain, Active Directory and LDAP
Includes system configuration, user authentication services, file and print services, directory services, SMTP - MS Exchange services, performance tuning, availability and resource monitoring, alerts, system backup and restoration, security implementations.
General duties
Develop and promote standard operating procedures (SOP).
Enforce migration, versioning, and change control procedures and standards.
Schedule installations and upgrades and maintain them in accordance with established policies and procedures.
Install, test and implement system and application patches and upgrades to apply them to all environments.
Qualifications:
3+ years ShoreTel administration and support.
5+ years Windows server 2003/2008, active directory and MS Exchange experience.
2+ years Jira and Confluence administration and support experience.
5+ years Windows/Linux administration a plus.
Experience in supporting remote employees and offices.
Strong troubleshooting and support skills.
Project and time management skills.
Good communication skills and a positive attitude.
Desire to learn new skills.
Microsoft certification MSCE, MCM, MCA.
Other Certifications a plus, preferably RHCE, CCNA and CCNP.
Education:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent knowledge and experience.
