Senior Systems Administrator Xoom
Job Description:
Xoom Corporation, an online money transfer company, located in the Financial District of San Francisco, is looking for an experienced Senior Systems Administrator.
Primary responsibility will be to implement/support JIRA/Confluence. This role will also maintain and support a number of company wide applications and Microsoft services including single sign-on integration with enterprise applications. This position will also require in-depth Windows domain servers and Windows network administration skills to support our client base and core IT team.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Administration and support of Jira, Confluence and Rally
Manage maintenance, support, configuration, security and integrity of ticketing and tracking systems. Manage and support ticketing queues, user roles, security, profiles, workflows and reporting. Perform application and system administration tasks including data backups and scheduled jobs
Administration and support of Windows Domain, AD and LDAP and Linux administration
Includes system configuration, user authentication services, file and print services, directory services, SMTP, performance tuning, availability and resource monitoring, alerts, system backup and restoration, security implementations
Administration and support of VOIP
Provide assistance to the VOIP applications administrator and serve as secondary support person
General duties
Develop and promote standard operating procedures (SOP)
Enforce migration, versioning, and change control procedures and standards
Schedule installations and upgrades and maintain them in accordance with established policies and procedures
Install, test and implement system and application patches and upgrades to apply them to all environments
Qualifications:
5+ years Windows server 2003/2008, Active Directory/Federation Services experience
5+ years of hands-on Linux experience
5+ years Jira and Confluence administration and support experience
2+ years VOIP administration and support a plus
Experience in supporting remote employees and offices
Strong troubleshooting and support skills
Project and time management skills
Good communication skills and a positive attitude
Desire to learn new skills
Microsoft certification MSCE, MCM, MCA
Other Certifications a plus, preferably RHCE, CCNA and CCNP
Education:
Bachelor's degree orequivalent knowledge and experience.
