The Systems Administrator will be responsible for and should have experience in managing a Windows based Software as a Service (SaaS) production environment in a fast-paced, growing enterprise. In this well-rounded position, you will need expert level knowledge in Windows Server, coupled with Cisco IOS and SAN management experience. A working knowledge in SQL server to manage backups and restores - you'll work with multiple 2005/2008 cluster SQL servers, will help you succeed in this role.
Experience in implementing automated processes, developing standards and designing/managing stable infrastructure is highly desirable. The System Administrator will also be responsible for managing the Microsoft cluster servers, Hyper-V hosts, SAN hardware, network infrastructure and backup infrastructure. IIS, certificate management and load balance hardware experience is desired but not required. You will also coordinate support with other senior and principle administrators across multiple product lines.
The ideal candidate must also be able to perform software installations and upgrades to operating systems and layered software packages, schedule installations/upgrades and maintain them in accordance with established IT policies and procedures.
Additional responsibilities include:
Monitoring and tuning the systems to achieve optimum performance levels.
Ensuring server data integrity by evaluating, implementing, and managing appropriate software and hardware solutions.
Ensuring data/media recoverability by implementing a schedule of system backups and database archive operations.
Managing backup data through internal methods and procedures and through offsite storage and retrieval services.
Developing and promoting standard operating procedures.
Conducting routine hardware and software audits of servers to ensure compliance with established standards, policies, and configuration guidelines.
Developing and maintaining a comprehensive operating system hardware and software configuration database/library of all supporting documentation.
Performing as a System Administrator in a dynamic, growing, and global environment.
Required Skills

Required Experience
Expert knowledge managing large Windows 2003/2008 environment.
Working knowledge of 2005/2008 SQL server and SQL clusters.
Solid understanding of SAN hardware and management.
Working knowledge of Cisco IOS.
Working experience with designing and maintaining backup solutions.
Experience documenting solutions, processes, procedures and recovery plans.
Demonstrated ability to actively participate in change management processes and use of enterprise standard change control procedure.
Preferred experience:
Experience with scripting languages.
F5 load balancer experience.
IIS, certificate management.
