The Senior Systems Engineer performs the following functions: Designs, analyzes, evaluates, tests, debugs and implements applications, programs, or systems in support of company initiatives on various platforms. He/she will also define system requirements through collaboration with customers and/or business units and/or prepares studies and analyzes existing systems. They also identify, analyze and resolve complex systems deficiencies as well as develop and recommend corrective actions. The candidate will be responsible for expert level knowledge ensuring the reliability, security, and performance of mission-critical systems on networks of MINDBODY, Inc.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Acts as the highest level of infrastructure support for multiple technology systems-related issues.
Experience with networking technologies (F5 Networks, Cisco Nexus, Palo Alto, various firewall technologies).
Experience designing and implementing a wide range of network topologies and architectures (LAN, WAN, MAN).
Experienced with multiple networking protocols including, but not limited to: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and WINS.
Expert knowledge and experience with various routing protocols including, but not limited to: EIGRP, BGP, OSPF, RIP.
Experience required operating within an enterprise virtualization environment (VMware).
Designs, analyzes, evaluates, tests, debugs and implements changes in user and system software and hardware environments.
Works with other engineering resources concerning issues of support to maintain the highest level of quality in customer service, as well as timely problem resolution.
Provide senior mentorship to junior level administrators via policy and procedures documentation and training sessions.
Uses skills as a seasoned, experienced professional with a full understanding of industry best practices and company policies and procedures to resolve related issues in an imaginative as well as practical way.
Demonstrates expert judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.
Interacts with internal or external personnel as needed for expert technical collaboration and judgments.
Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
Normally receives little instruction on duties and responsibilities, or new assignments.
Exercises independent judgment in developing methods, techniques, and evaluation criterion for obtaining results.

Knowledge and experience working with Information Security teams and auditors to achieve compliance with regulatory and internal initiatives (e.g. PCI, SOX).

This individual will be required to regularly communicate information that is Company Confidential to external business contacts, vendors, and manufacturers. The communication is for the purposes of knowledge exchange, research, and discovery of information required in maintaining MindBody systems.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
1) Knowledge, skills & abilities:
Advanced skill level with mastery of most operating systems commands/utilities.
Advanced skill level with mastery of CIFs, DHCP, DNS, A/D, TCP/IP, VLAN, Trunks, and Ether Channel.
Expertise in designing internal and external local and global traffic management solutions (e.g., F5).
Expertise in the building and care of Enterprise class servers.
Experience with storage technologies and converged network products.
Capable of resolving complex software and hardware problems.
Demonstrated experience and proficiency in process automation.
Knowledge experience implementing multiple security policies and procedures.
2) Minimum certifications/educational level:
Bachelor?s degree in Computer Science or MIS or comparable experience.
Cisco certified network professional (CCNA, CCNP, CCDP).
Other Industry Certifications.
3) Minimum experience:
6+ years of related experience with networking technologies (Cisco, Palo Alto).
4+ years of related experience with F5 Network products (LTM, GTM, BIGIP).
6+ years of related experience with Windows server systems.
2+ years of related experience with virtualization technologies (VMware).
6+ years of experience as an Engineer in an enterprise environment.
4) Physical Requirements:
Must be able to lift over 40 lbs.
Read a 14? monitor screen at resolutions of 1024 x 768.
Requires travel as needed to support other locations and disaster recovery testing.
