SENIOR TECHNICAL ARCHITECT (IT INFRASTRUCTURE): FRAMINGHAM, MASSACHUSETTS, CHICAGO, ILLINOIS AND NEW YORK, NEW YORK GlassHouse Technologies, Inc.

Mandatory Technical Qualifications:

- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent plus technical work experience
- Strong enterprise infrastructure background with a minimum of 10+ years experience in managing IT architecture standards, processes and solutions
- Exceptional analytical and technical skill sets, with grounding in architecture design concepts and best practices
- Ability to rapidly comprehend the functions and capabilities of new technologies
- Proven ability to communicate effectively with senior executives
- Ability to travel 100 (Monday through Friday).

Responsibilities:

1. Leverage TransomSM, our unique business model comprised of proprietary software tools, methodologies and domain expertise to deliver professional service engagement to our clients
2. Lead the creation and evolution of the infrastructure architecture function for engagements
3. Provide strategic recommendations and expert counsel to clients by developing in-depth understanding of client's business requirements
4. Document current state, future state and proposed roadmap between both states based upon configuration/architecture of servers, storage, workstations, middleware and networks
5. Design and ensure performance, availability and scalability of the infrastructure.
6. Develop, promote and follow engagement methodologies
7. Ensure successful delivery of engagements; document best practices, methodologies, and cost models
8. Partner with business customers, IT management, infrastructure teams, development teams and project managers to shape the vision, structure, standards and plan for IT solutions that support each clients strategic business direction.
