Senior Technical Product Manager FusionOne

The Product Manager will contribute to the definition of the FusionOne product suite. This person will be involved in identifying and developing product and market requirements, performing business case analysis, end-to-end use cases and closely working with all stakeholders to meet those objectives. This role requires close working relationships with Engineering (Development, UI Design, QA and Documentation), Professional Services, Business Development, Support, Operations, and Sales & Marketing leaders throughout the organization.
This role requires a self-motivated individual who can drive cross-functional teams of senior leaders and individual contributors throughout an organization. This position represents FusionOne to customers, prospects, partners, competitors, and other significant constituencies as well as representing those constituencies within FusionOne.
Job Responsibilities:
- Translate the product vision into comprehensive Product Requirements Documents with end-to-end customer use cases
- Clearly articulate end-to-end use cases and end user experience into product requirements
- Create comprehensive business, customer, and functional requirements and author product collateral including white papers and business & technical presentations
- Identify product and feature priorities to successfully meet the goals of the business
- Conduct competitive analysis for product features with a focus on the technology landscape
- Work closely with Engineering teams to ensure the product and platform architecture is aligned with the product road map
- Collaborate with cross-functional global teams including sales, marketing, engineering, QA and UI design teams to drive product definition and successfully execute on the product road map
- Communicate a deep understanding of the customer, the problem, and the solution with clear line of sight back to the business objectives to all involved parties
- Contribute to the product road map by working closely with business stakeholders including sales, marketing and business development
- Evangelize the product across internal and external stakeholder groups
Qualification and Skills:
- B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent
- MBA a strong plus
- 5 years of demonstrated product management experience in a large-scale, high-traffic web serving or wireless platform and applications and messaging systems
- Ability to innovate and define creative solutions with compelling user experiences that exceed customer expectations
- Excellent analytical abilities
- Experience in defining and delivering commercial products, and working across the entire product life cycle
- Experience working closely with multi-disciplinary teams to drive product definition and development
- A self-starter with the ability to come up with new ideas and ways to make them happen
- Strong oral and written, communication and presentation skills
- Strong experience in writing product requirement and use case documents and product collaterals
- Excellent interpersonal skills to build consensus and evangelize products and ideas across global teams and across levels in the organization
- Holistic understanding of the mobile user experience, (e.g. pricing, technology, user behavior) and variances within numerous international markets, handsets and operating systems
- Demonstrated ability to drive and communicate sound data-based decisions
- Passion for mobile/consumer technology and sense of urgency for time-to-market
- Strong team player and contributor with can-do attitude
