Workday is looking for an experienced technical project manager to assist in successfully planning, executing and driving the completion of multiple parallel projects under aggressive timelines and within budget.As a  Project Manager reporting into the Information Systems team, you will join a highly experienced team primarily focused on supporting projects for IT, SalesForce, and other integrations to support Workday as a business.

Responsibilities:
â¢Â   With minimal supervision and as part of a project management team, manage key project management related to software development, packaged integration and hardware related projects.
â¢Â   Run technically complex projects from scoping/requirements through design, development, deployment and post launch support using agile and SDLC methodologies.
â¢Â   Develop high level and detail schedule for project implementation as well as develop and execute risk mitigation plan and proactively identify and resolve issues
â¢Â   Recognize opportunities for improvement and take initiatives to implement changes
â¢Â   Maintain and develop new project management tools and template

Knowledge Base:
â¢Â   5+ years direct work experience in a technical project management capacity including scope and requirements definition, problem solving and process improvements in either Software as a Service or other current web-based technology environment.
â¢Â   5 years + direct work experience in projects ranging from small to large, with teams from 1 to 2 people to 30+ and distinct defined deliverables ranging from under 10 to 100.
â¢Â   Experience leading and participating in technical and cross-functional projects in a fast paced environment is required.
â¢Â   Strong people, organizational, presentation and communication skills
â¢Â   Must be able to learn, understand, and apply new technologies.
â¢Â   Strong organizational and project management skills in Agile and SDCL project methodologies.
â¢Â   Excellent organizational, troubleshooting and problem solving skills with high attention to detail
â¢Â   Willingness to âroll up oneâs sleevesâ and assist wherever needed
â¢Â   Excellent communication skills with the ability to teach others
â¢Â   Ability to formulate better ideas on how to improve and better support the project management ecosystem
â¢Â   Excellent verbal and written skills
