Senior Technical / Revenue Accountant
Responsibilities:

Review customer contracts: identify, articulate, and document issues and the financial impact in compliance with US GAAP revenue recognition guidelines.
Stays current with revenue recognition guidance and technical pronouncements that could impact the company's financial reporting.
Prepare monthly/quarterly commission schedule.
Assist in the development of accounting policies.
Assist Corporate Controller in the preparation of documentation, communication and resolution of technical accounting issues with external auditors.
Makes interpretations of accounting guidance with respect to Online/SAAS revenues.
Work closely with Company's external auditors to ensure approved revenue policies are carefully adhered to support annual audit.
Manage the equity accounting and related stock based compensation.
Ad hoc projects as needed.

Qualifications:

Candidates for this position must have a minimum of 7 years relevant experience which includes at least two years of public accounting experience, preferably Big Four audit experience.
Proficient knowledge of US GAAP requirements, including revenue recognition (EITF 08-1, SOP 97-2).

Detail oriented, well organized, with the ability to manage a variety of recurring duties as well as actively contribute to new projects.
Ability to multi-task in a dynamic environment.
Strong communication skills, including the ability to listen to the needs of others, research and comprehend complex matters, articulate issues in a clear and concise manner, and present findings as well as recommendations in both oral and written presentations.
Ability and desire to learn new skills or improve existing capabilities, including technology.
Advanced skills with Microsoft Excel .
Bachelor Degree in Accounting/Finance and a CPA.
