As a Senior Technical Writer, you are an integral part of the development process ? from start to finish. Working with our Engineering and Product Marketing teams, it is your job to take complex technical material and make it easily understood. At every step of the way, you will need superior writing and editing skills, the ability to adapt to different writing styles, and the drive to deliver high-quality materials. The work is challenging and fast-paced, but it?s exciting and rewarding, too.

Job Functions
At Ping Identity, a Senior Technical Writer will:
Deliver online technical content and product user guides to support customers and software developers.
Develop, draft, revise and edit software documentation, short instructional video scripts and white papers for enterprise software and web-hosted products.
Manage multiple assignments simultaneously, while working independently and with other writers.
Organize and target content for consumption by multiple user types.
Publish and manage content in a Content Management System.
Deliver high-quality material for publication on a challenging schedule, including iterative technical review and editing cycles.
Essential Qualifications
7+ years of professional writing/editing experience
5 years as technical writer for enterprise software, on regular release cycles
2+ years experience using FrameMaker
Exceptional writing/editing expertise in a fast-paced environment
Ability to grasp complex technical material and present it clearly and effectively to less technical readers
Experience with online publications and communication tools
Working knowledge of MS Word, some familiarity with Visio, Photoshop or Adobe Illustrator
Strong computer operating system and web browser skills
Desired Qualifications
Experience documenting information-technology (IT) software
Some knowledge of Internet infrastructure and security/identity management
Single-source, multi-channel publishing experience, especially using FrameMaker with WebWorks Publisher
Experience working in an Agile software-development environment
Expertise using at least one illustration and/or video production tool
