Senior Telco Cost Auditor and Analyst
The Senior Telco Cost Auditor and Business Analyst works directly with Razorsight clients to assess business objectives, goals and strategy as it relates to leveraging owned and leased network, media and content assets in order to optimally deliver next generation communications, media and entertainment services and solutions to businesses and consumers ? domestically and globally. The Analyst then assesses the full complement of client staff, client tools and systems balanced against Razorsight Product/Applications and Services to develop and deliver the optimal management of the aforementioned assets ? from a strategic, operational, engineering and financial perspective.
Once engaged on a client project, the Analyst designs and performs detailed analyses of client telecommunications assets to identify strategic, technical, engineering and financial optimization opportunities. The position requires the Analyst to possess an in-depth knowledge of telecommunications industry trends, challenges, strategies, network design, costs and technologies in the following areas: Next Generation Network Services (media, video services, content, gaming), Data Services (MPLS, IP, OCx), Wireless Services (GSM, CDMA, Fixed), and Voice Services (Switched and Facility Access, Local Services, IXC Private Line, Usage, Voice Over IP). Analysts leverage knowledge of network topology, network engineering, tariff/contract/interconnection agreement analysis and interpretation, and industry standards to identify optimization opportunities. Analysts must be able to analyze data from cost management databases and utilize this data to perform audits, deliver reports, analytics, trending and analysis for financial, engineering and marketing executives. The position requires significant attention to detail, strong analytical skills, creativity, financial and engineering aptitude and excellent communications ability.
Responsibilities:
Perform auditing, reporting, and analysis based on the client engagement requirements
Conduct and manage the internal and external client business processes including identification and creation of disputes, exceptions, resolution, tracking, and report generation to clients as determined by the contract
Leverage Razorsight software tools and applications to identify financial, engineering and strategic improvement opportunities
Manage and deploy integration/linkage to client systems including Inventory, Contract/Rate Database, BSS/OSS, ERP, Data Warehouse, Network Usage Feeds, and Supplier Invoices
Conduct tariff and contract analysis, reviewing regulatory and rate application changes to identify exception and optimization opportunities
Act as a subject matter expert and liaison between the client and suppliers
Provide analysis, subject matter expertise to internal and external customers to increase knowledge, efficiency, and added value to clients
Create audits and reporting in several systems including, Razorsight Network Cost Analytics, Business Objects, PL SQL, Microsoft Access, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft PowerPoint.

Strong database SQL or query skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Minimum Qualifications:
4 years experience in business, engineering or financial analytical functions
Bachelor?s degree in Engineering, Finance, Business, Economics, or related field or equivalent work experience
Proficient in SQL, MS Access, MS Excel, and Business Objects or similar programming or analytical tools
Position requires minimal travel to client sites for data gathering and delivery of client engagement reports, analyses and results
