Senior Test Automation Engineer Palamida

We are looking for a Senior Test Automation Engineer to analyze and test the features of our web-based application as part of a collaborative, fast-paced team. As a member of the development team you will work closely with all departments to deliver quality software. This is not the typical process of "throwing code over the wall"--you will work closely with Product Management , Developers and Sales/Support from the beginning to make sure code is always high quality. Responsibilities

? Develop test automation infrastructure and scripts.
? Work closely with Product Management and Developers to understand features and create robust, comprehensive test plans to verify functionality.
? Do exploratory testing and acceptance of new features as part of an Agile development process.
? Identify bugs through systematic testing, help Developers reproduce errors and verify defects are fixed.
? Participate throughout the development process, analyzing features to point out weaknesses or inconsistencies.
Qualifications

? 5 years of professional experience in Software QA, ideally testing web-based client/server architectures.
? 3 years writing test automation scripts (not just record/playback) using Selenium, QTP or Silk.
? Demonstrated proficiency with Linux and SQL.
? Proven track record of isolating and driving issues to closure.
? Excellent analytical, troubleshooting and problem solving skills with attention to detail.
? Ability to work independently with minimum supervision as well as work in a team.
? Experience testing APIs with Java, JavaScript or equivalent object-oriented language.
Education

BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
