The Senior Test Engineer develops production test solutions for high volume RF switch products for mobile applications. These include both packaged and wafer level known good die (KGD) implementations on both proprietary and industry platforms. Role includes the design of the solution architecture, hardware and software in addition to evaluation and release of the solution to production. The candidate will be a key contributor to our best in class mobile wireless RF switches products based on Peregrine?s proprietary UltraCMOS? process technology.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Contributor to platform selection for each product assigned
Design of overall solution architecture and implementation strategy
Electrical design, simulation, layout of the test solution hardware
Implementation of the test solution software
Integration and debug of the test solution
Evaluation (bench correlation, GR&R, yield assessment) and release of test solution
Knowledge, Skill and Competency Requirements:
Thorough understanding of analog and RF principles
Experience releasing high volume package and wafer level test solutions into production
Solid understanding of multiple programming languages including C
Experience with National Instruments CVI
LabView a plus
Good understanding of Gaussian statistics and its applications
Experience with multiple industry RF test platforms (e.g., Credence Duo/Quartet, Roos, Teredyne Catalyst)
The following traits are highly valued:
Experience in using RF simulation/CAD tools for RF test hardware development
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and English proficiency
Self-motivated and team oriented
Knowledge in RF/communications systems
Experience with EG4080 probers, SE probe software and VXI/PXI platforms
Education and Experience:
BSEE/CS or equivalent minimum
5+ years of relevant experience
